My daughter is part puppy
Lately, Hannah gets really squirmy at bedtime. I can tell she’s tired because she yawns, rubs her eyes, and stretches so far that her belly touches the sky. But, when I put her in her crib, she rolls around and around non-stop. Not only does she go back and forth a dozen times a minute, but she’ll also swing her legs out like a trapeze artist and land a toe on the side of her bed, and then she flexes that toe to push herself around and makes circles laterally as well as in a back and forth way. It’s honestly like watching a dog circle his mat in that obsessive compulsive pattern until he finally sits down with his chin on his hip to fall asleep. Well, Hannah’s tail doesn’t tickle her ear as she snoozes, but she’s found herself in some pretty entertaining positions before the lights finally go out and she’s snoring softly. I went in to get her the other morning, and she was 180 degrees from where I’d left her. Her pacifier was missing, but the blanket was intact, and she looked too cute to disturb. Ah. What a good puppy.

What a sweetie! She looks so peaceful.
