I may have spoken too soon.
Not only did Kristy email me from the delivery room (after the epidural had taken effect and she got bored) but she called today to say that she might stop in and check up on files. Bah. She’s been home from the hospital with little Ellie for a grand total of three days now, and she’s already thinking about coming to work? Hmm. I think that bonding thing needs to happen between those two soon! I’ve been able to get SO much work done without Kristy here, but I’ve still got several weeks of work to go.
She did change her mind and she stayed home, so that’s good, but she asked me to drop her laptop by her house on my way home along with a couple of new files. Hmm. Guess you can’t keep a work-a-holic down, eh?
So has she backed down yet. I’m sure the sleepless nights are getting to her by now. If not she really must be a work aholic.
