Here we go!
I told my boss this morning that I was good to go as a part-time employee and that Jon and I would figure out our own insurance issues. (my office needs to renegotiate their insurance while they’re at it!…outrageous prices!) I’m so excited for this next step! I’m really looking forward to having Friday’s totally off so that I don’t have to worry about getting the office stuff done before Monday, and so I can focus on the wedding business and work on some new projects we have in the plan.
We’ve had several August brides pay their bills, so Jon was able to join the Professional Photographers of America, and we’re already seeing discounts and benefits. YAY! We’ll see how their health insurance goes.
Hannah had a great doctors appointment last week and we’re told she’s perfect, perfectly healthy, and very smart for her age. Apparently, she figured out how to strip herself out of her clothes a couple of months early. Personally, I think whipping the shirt in circles above her head was a little bit further ahead than any of us can account for though!

Yay! I’m so glad things seem to be working out. Look into CHIP for Hannah – it’s for kids who can’t be insured through their parents – just like your situation. Alyssa is on it, and it’s been great.
Glad to hear Hannah’s check up went well – as long as she’s not taking those clothes off on a table, I think you’re okay.
Hooray for you. I’m so happy for the three of you.
Of course Hannah is smart she’s your daughter right.
