Another random lunch

Another lunch hour when I don’t want to surf.
I can’t wait to go camping this weekend. Three days of … nothing. Ahhh.
We FINALLY booked our flights for the wedding in Virginia this August. Who knew the Happenings book had such good deals on car rentals, or that it was cheaper to fly out of Pittsburg?
I spent my birthday gift cards this week. Three super cute things from Ross (thanks Jess and Kim) and nothing at Target. Still, the cards were burning a hole, so I bought a bunch of adorable things for Hannah. That makes me happy too, so, Happy Birthday to me…again.
I’ve emailed South America six times today.
It’s tough billing for my boss when she only has a handful of clients, but each of them is particular about their procedures to pay out. Grr. She doesn’t get paid unless I do it right, but all that anyone is telling me is that I’m doing it wrong. Not helpful.
Erin rocks. I bet you’ll see Jon’s name and his photos in print in no time because she’s so amazing.
I left my phone in the car again, didn’t I? Bah. Voicemails suck.
Bless Sister Edwards for substituting for me in Primary this weekend. It’s a rare person who can sub in music and not be afraid. Love her!
I love it when brides write $3,000 checks without blinking.
I’m more proud of brides who pay $100 a month for a year to get what they want.
I like working with all kinds of brides.
My stomach hurts. Crappy frozen pizza and warm yogurt…not a good combo.
I think I want to put little paper elephants in Hannah’s room a la Ella’s hedgehogs. Better find some cute cutouts and ask Britta how she secured them.
I want to sew again…and read a book. Ahh. Someday.
My checklist is getting smaller, but the big stuff is still looming. Better get on that.
Okay. Lunch is over. Nose to the grindstone and all that…….wouldn’t that hurt if it were literal? Ouch!

  1. Scrapbook paper for the cute designs and then spray glue for the back. If you let it dry for a few minutes it becomes a non-permanent adhesive. I’ve had to re-stick two of the birds, but I’d rather do that than have to scrape them off the wall when we decide to change things. Elephants would be really cute!
